With summer in full affect, players are narrowing things down quite a bit.

Moments ago Eddy Pierre Louis announced his finalists:

Alabama, Oklahoma, Miami, Tennessee, Florida, UCF, Texas A&M, USC, Oregon and Georgia

In the last conversation Eddy Pierre Louis spoke highly about the Tide and his relationship with Alabama.

More to come.

NCAA Baseball Statistics

Current NCAA Baseball Statistics. I don’t mean to be Debbie Downer, but if you will notice the ERA statistics, Wake has three starting pitchers in the top 50 of ERA and is first in the Country in team ERA, a full 1.2 ERA better than the Eighth place team in ERA. I don’t think I need to tell you the team that ranks Eighth in team ERA, it I will, Alabama. In other words, If Alabama and Wake both get to the Super Regionals, expect low scoring pitching duels.

Question on Men's CWS

I must admit that baseball is probably my least favorite sport to watch, but I have been drawn in to Alabama's post-season efforts after the debacle with the coach. Can someone explain how the Men's CWS tournament works? Does only 1 team advance from each region? Does the winner tonight (Alabama v. Troy automatically advance)? Any insight would be appreciated.

Montana Fouts wraps up 'dream' career with Alabama softball

"I couldn't have asked for a better place to spend my dream. This has always been my dream. I will have people for the rest of my life. I don't even have the words. I don't know if I ever will. I don't know if I'll ever have the words for what this place, Murph, and the coaches, and these teammates mean to me. I have a home." — Montana Fouts

Football Recruiting Alabama camp (Day 3): Updates - NEW offers go out

The Alabama camp for many kids is a proving ground to evaluate themselves and be evaluated by the Alabama staff.

In some cases kids join the “board” of a staff and begin being recruited by the Tide. In other cases it sets the stage for more improvement and development to potentially get the attention of Alabama later down the road.

Today the talent has been strong and the coaches have been active as several offers have been extended.

Coach Oats expects Quinerly back

Coach Oats expects Quinerly back. He has one more workout for the Bucks, but if that does not go positive, it looks like he will return for his 5th season with the Tide. His return would give us the point guard that we desperately need. A healthy Quinerly for the entire season would be a major catalyst for a winning team and a return to the NCAA tournament. Quinerly back and a big man to split time with Pringle would be just the medicing this team would need. In my wildest dreams I do not see a season like 2022-23, but I could see another return to the NCAA tournament and a good run. If either of the Portal players are as good as advertised and one Freshman comes through, we could be a solid challenger for the SEC Title again, but we have to possess a Point Guard, which we do not have at the moment.

Expecting A Big Month in Recruiting This Month

Last couple of years we sorta thought things were slow going into June, but our commit list really started to grow during the month of June. lt led to the #1 Class last year and hopefully the same thing will happen this year.

On another subject, also hope Oates picks up a couple or 3 big guys to play Center and Power Forward for the basketball team.

Also would like to say thanks again for the great job our Staff on this site does keeping us up to date.

Roll Tide

SEC Yesterday

June 2, the SEC was criticized for having 10 teams in the field. I thought Georgia and Missouri should have been in the field. The SEC had an s as l most perfect first day, except for the mistake on the farm.

I warned people about Penn pitching and the pitcher from Nichols.

Here is hoping for a second good day. I think aTm could beat Stanford and UCheat is up to Clemson. I could see another big day for the SEC. Auburn has to beat a good USM team, but unless Samford wins, Penn has a third starter but not much after that.

Alabama is better than Troy, as shown from the two midweek games, but Troy can hit. we will have to score runs today.
