NCAA Baseball begins today, who wins?

Ten SEC teams enter the day as favorites to win their first games and eight as #1 seeds to win their regionals. Who do you have winning today and who advances to Supers.

Caution, most college teams have at least one quality pitcher that could throw for anyone, so just because your first game is against a four, the four’s first pitcher could easily be a weekend starter for your team.

Jacob Mayers, who we will probably see tonight is the only pitcher Nichols really has. He started 14 games this year and has a 1.93 ERA, the sixth best in the NCAA. I don’t care what league you are pitching in, but that is really good. Nichols has a team ERA that leaves a lot to be desired, so after Mayers pitches, they will probably not win a game.

I think on Paper Auburn is the longest shot. Penn could win the first three games in Auburn, as Dromboski, Coady and Zaffiro are quality pitchers and they are not a bad hitting team, they just don’t have Auburn‘s power. After the first three pitchers, Penn is in trouble.

Four-Star QB KJ Lacey released his top group earlier today with Alabama in his finalists.

Other schools that made the cut; Tennessee, Texas, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Auburn, Texas A&M, Oregon and South Carolina.

For many who watch Alabama High School football you had the opportunity to see Lacey lead Saraland to the state title with current Alabama commit Ryan Williams.

Lacey is considered a dual-treat but has poise and pocket precision from the pocket. He has more upside to his game and should continue to develop nicely.

From some rumbling around people close to Lacey, Texas is a team that should not be ruled out by any means.

Suggestions to improve the Board

As the new Board approaches one year, what suggestions would you make to improve the Board?

For me, I think their could be a better use of the sticky portion of the Champions Lounge. I would suggest that when Tony, Kelly, James or JAG post an article that it appear on the sticky thread for a couple of days, so that the articles are not lost in the threads. This would give us all notice of the new article and an adequate time to read the article. The sticky threads box could also be cleaned out, so the old stuff was permitted to vanish. I hope no one takes offense, but if Tony or James writes an article, it is usually worth reading and what we have paid for. Personally, what that idiot Vaughnbama writes is usually not worth reading.

Second, give Milso a free membership, conditioned on his posting something once a day.

Willis considered considered one of the top RBs in the county and has the Tide sitting in strong position following the offer.

“When Alabama calls you’re definitely going to take a hard look.”

Taking 'Bama early on for an elite 2025 offensive weapon

in Anthony 'Turbo' Rogers. The Montgomery native is down at IMG Academy turning heads as a RB/slot type and I'm told the notion of coming back to 'Bama for college is strong here.

According to close to Ionata, the Tide could be trending right now for the Florida target. Apparently, Coach Wolford made quite the impression visiting Ionata on campus and spending several hours with him.

Following his offer, Ionata was so impressed with the Crimson Tide that a decision could be on its way sooner rather than later.

Ionata is a player to watch over the next several days in terms of a commitment.

The latest on TJ Lindsey..

Minutes after tweeting out his top list of Arkansas, Texas, USC, Oregon, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Miami, Auburn, Missouri and Michigan, Alabama decided to offer.

It's not too late for the Crimson Tide.

The four-star defensive end who just transferred from Bryant, Ark., to Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy told me Alabama is "definitely top five" now on his list.

Former top recruit PF, Zuby Ejiofor, out at Kansas.

In 2022 Zuby Ejiofor was the four star #57 rated recruit out of Garland Texas. The 6'9" PF is now in the Portal after having a bench warming season at Kansas. Maybe Harper can give us the reasons. but it appears that if you bring in a 6'11 Trasfer big man from Michigan, you are probably going to lose someone that thinks he deserved the playing time. In the Arkansas, Duke, Indiana and Kentucky games he did more than just eat up minutes. He is agressive and runs the floor. It appears to me that he is a very good power forward that has no touch on his foul shot and would not be a threat to score, unless it is on a put back or dunk. The plus is that he could clog the middle defensively, rebound and provide valuable minutes. The bad side is that offensively he would clog the middle and he could not contribute the last three minutes of a game.

The kid has talent and someone will get a good one. I don't see him being a fit at Alabama. but he could be a valuable player somewhere.
