Four-star OL Michael Uini announced his top 6 today which included the Tide. Uini has flirted with Alabama and will take his OV in June 20-22.

Uini has been recruited pretty hard for some time now and several people have mentioned Texas but Alabama has spend a lot of time in Central Texas. Uini is definitely a name to continue to watch down the stretch.

On managing having five quarterbacks on the roster

“I think we’ll have to get well-organized in terms of how we distribute the reps. But it’s good to have competition on your team, and hopefully, competition will make everybody better.”

On the importance of the next few months for his quarterbacks.

“I think everything’s important,” Saban said. “We’ve done Zooms with our team this month. Even though coaches are on the road, some of the other folks in the organization have tried to do Zooms with guys so that we can review what we did in the spring and the new guys can actually start to try to make some progress, too.

“Always trying to figure out how can we teach better? How can guys learn better? And every individual may learn differently, but those are all things that are important in the spring, now and this summer will be especially important for all the new guys and the young players on our team.”

Alabama is sitting at 10 in the RPI with Vandy, South Carolina(who does not play) and Indiana State immediately in front of Bama. A win tonight might be enough to boost Alabama to Seventh or Eighth in the RPI and a loss will probably not drop Alabama lower that twelfth. A win could put Alabama not only in a position to host a sub-regional, but also in a position to host a Regional. Alabama is approaching a position that the wildest Alabama fan could not have dreamed at week four of the SEC season.

I would submit that a win tonight would cement our position. I could not see Vandy or South Carolina being seeded higher than Alabama if we win tonight. Having said that, Alabama will be a moderate underdog tonight, but we can dream.

There are options out there for a backup for Pringle, but not many starters.

What a game and weekend for her!

It is all on the line today, the winner will probably get to host a sub regional and the loser will probably have to travel. After the most heartbreaking loss in recent memory, Alabama must regroup and get ready for a game that has extra meaning. I am still in shock at the ebb of last nights game, which turned on a player having his glove turned in the wrong direction, which could have happened to anyone.

With the losses last night Alabama fell to 11th in the RPI and Auburn fell to 16th. I think the risk and reward today is obvious.

After tonight’s spring game five-Star WDE Colin Simmons confirmed that he will take an OV to Alabama when Texas comes to town.

Simmons has visited Bama before but attributed the OV to his primary recruiters Coach Wiggins and Hutzler.

Simmons is also set to visit Texas, Oregon & Miami this summer. LSU will receive a visit

As one of the nations top prospects he would be a major get for the class, most likely bring others with him if we’re to end up in the class. He’s a well liked recruit.
