When it comes to projecting Alabama’s success this fall, it’s anyone’s guess. There’s still plenty to figure out before the Crimson Tide opens its season against Middle Tennessee State on Sept. 2 inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. To help pass the time until then, TideIllustrated’s Tony Tsoukalas and James Benedetto will delve into 23 questions concerning the 2023 season.
Today, we look at Alabama's biggest offseason question — who will win the quarterback battle?
Tony, is there any word on the status of Montana Fouts for the Northwestern weekend. I do not believe for a second that she was available to pitch last weekend, as if she had been available, we would have seen her in the second game.
If the NCAA reseeded Softball today the Alabama Crimson Tide would be seeded 14th, based upon the performance last weekend. For the season, Alabama was 106th in hitting, 42nd in fielding, and 14th in pitching, all of which is not a good combination for winning a championship. The good news for the weekend is that Northwestern is an average hitting team, not a super fielding team and they have no pitcher in the top 100 of ERA.
If Montana Fouts can go this weekend and be effective, we are probably going to OKC. If Montana Fouts cannot go, I would say it is 50/50.
Washington is a unique prospect due to his size at 6’5. He has WR like skills to match with an ability to get in and out of breaks and create space for big plays.
This offer follows the commitment of Reddell to Georgia.
1) Can't hit
2) Has only 1 good pitcher
3) Is inept defensively
4) Is totally lost on the base paths
5) Has no situational awareness
6) Is severely lacking in the basic fundamentals of the game
I'm sure I left a few inadequacies out. Yet, despite all of these shortcomings, he has us in the Super Regionals for the 17th time in 18 years. And we got there without our ace throwing a single pitch in the regional. I'd say that's one heckuva job by our coach.

Nwaneri is considered one of the top prospects in the county and as of right now, he’s is still showing interest in Alabama and vice versa.
With Alabama set to lose Dallas Turner and a few more pieces on the D-Line, Nwaneri would make for a great addition.
Arguably the greatest running back of all-time, Jim Brown, of the Cleveland Browns is gone at age 87. I put in arguably, as someone might try to claim there was once someone better, but Jim Brown was the greatest running back of all time.
With the win yesterday, Alabama climbs back to #10 in College Baseball RPI. that could well mean that todays game, in which Alabama is an underdog could well decide if Alabama host a Sub Regional. There is a prediction that we are currently on the Number 14 line.Projection
This kid is a really good running back from just South of here in Andalusia. Has good size and speed. My brother is the PA Announcer down there and apparently Alabama has not been recruiting him. He is committed to the Cow College. l don't know if we just didn't want him or maybe his committment to the Cow College is strong enough that we figure it is a waste of time.
