Recruiting/Development

Some of us have talked about this in the past. I’m not against recruiting elite talent and guys that are one and done. But building a program on that is a tough living. Why don’t we recruit some basketball players that can shoot, know how to play, etc and that will commit to the process and develop them into better players. Do that year in and year out and sprinkle in the one and dimes when you can get them and use the portal. Look at all these teams left. There has been a ton of development on these teams with their players.

Now onto Spring Football!!!

It should be a super competitive Spring. There are several guys who have been waiting in the wings that need to show up and there are several newbies with very high expectations…can’t wait to see it all play out. My not so bold prediction is that CNS will not even come close to showing his hand as to who will be our QB. In fact, I look for Milroe and Simpson to be on the same A-Day team…giving both QB’s equal reps with the ones on offense. RTR

Alabama offensive line building 'ruthless' mentality

J.C. Latham didn't mince words when asked what his expectations of the offensive line were this season.

Give Conf USA props

Give Conf USA props where due...FAU in Elite 8 and leading KSU for Final 4 and two teams in NIT Final Four (UAB and UNT). Better than "experts" thought and definitely a solid post-season performance as none of those teams were expected to make it past two round in their respective tournaments. Compared to SEC blew it as good as everyone thought there were, a poor tournament performance...but at least not ACC overall but at least they have Miami at Elite 8 and SEC is a big goose egg.

Distractions

Finally got the best of us in my opinion. Between the miles case, multiple coaches announcing they are leaving mid tournament and the oats/saban comments, it had to catch up eventually. Tonight was the night it did.

Horrible performance tonight but had fun watching this team this year. Miller and Clowney will be missed. Hoping we can get some 3 point shooters in the portal. We really need some.

We also need massive leap forwards from Rylan and Nimari. Sears has to figure it out as well.

It seemed that San Diego St

Wanted it more. yes, we were cold from the three. However, IMO, they single-handedly beat us to the ball and converted the rebounds which were really steals. I have never seen a game where more balls (rebounds) clearly belonged to Bama but we repeatedly had it stolen away. IDK if we were overlooking them or not but tonight SDS wanted it more. Very disappointing.
