The young man is extremely talented and is a special guard that needs to learn to play point, if he is to make it to the league. The young man has a chance to be coached by one of the best points to ever play in the league, a former NBA All Star, coach, and one of the best teachers of the game. The young man wants to transfer and the coach of three days does not put up a fight.
Does Pettway know something that the rest of us do not know? I get that he might not have wanted to stay for Coach Grant, but most college stars dream of playing in the league and Coach Johnson could pick up one phone call and get him a tryout. At Alabama he would be seen on Television 15 or more times. Texas Southern will not even get the player coverage in the Houston
