3 point shooting teams in NCAAs......

Oh they aren’t changing. They are still going to shoot every 3 available. The defense is what makes it possible to miss so many and stay in games.
@Jordan Harper posted (can't remember the thread) stats last week making a comparison to the sweet16 team a few years ago. The % at the rim is significantly better than that team which is making a huge difference as well.

That’s true. These guys can break things down better and finish when they have an opportunity. We missed a lot of easy ones that season.

My point wasn’t that they will change. It is that some of the great shooting teams had no choice but to live or die with the three. This team has options that they can rely on if they are missing threes. That and their ability to play lock down defense is what makes this team special.

If this team average 38 to 40% from 3 in the tourney.........watch out! Bama will be hard to beat!

The problem with 3 point shooters in the tourney is the size of the arena’s. Depth perception is the factor that affects a lot of shooters. The shoot arounds become more important in tourney games. Keith Askins could adapt to an arena faster than anyone I ever saw play the game.
