1) Our QB situation is about the same as it was during the spring game last season except with more depth adding Cornwell and Barnett to the mix. It would be easy to point out the bad things they did but I will refrain. All QBs showed flashes but not enough to make seperation. Coker probably showed the most promise as he should. We just have to hope someone busts their tail during the summer to get better like Blake did to seperate them self.

2) Henry, Foster, and Stewart will be our playmakers. Henry didn't show a lot but we didn't run all that much and didn't want to risk injury. Foster looked like 2 steps above every WR out there and not only is he a big target, he is very shifty and quick. He looked like a Julio type WR wearing that #8. Stewart will be our deep threat and we need one badly. He's got the most speed and pretty good hands. Oh, and where was OJ?

3) Defense looked as good as I can remember it being. CB may be a concern but they made plays yesterday. Humphrey was the one that stood out to me. After the big hit on Flowers and all the solo stops he had, he showed he can play physical in the SEC. The D Line and LB will be a force. How many seats did the D Line have? I had a tough time deciphering the 1st team D Line and LB from the 2nd team and that's scary. Rueben looks great and so does Hamilton. Evans looked quick off the edge and so did Williams.

Look for a sluggish start to the season, but thankfully we don't have a tough game until UGA in the 4th game (I think). Our D will carry us until we establish an identity on offense and then they will pick up the slack. Don't forget, we have more reinforcements coming and we had major concerns last spring but look how that turned out. Roll Tide
