I really don’t know where to start with this number. In my lifetime, many Bama greats have worn number 54. Actually there is only one place to start. I remember my Dad took me to the Orange Bowl. It was Alabama-Oklahoma and that day was the single greatest performance, ever, by any Alabama defensive player.
Lee Roy Jordan, Arguably one of the two greatest linebackers, ever at Alabama. We can argue whether it was Lee Roy or DT and the good side is that both sides of the argument are winners.
