Not only was Coach Sloan a great quarterback for BAMA, he was an outstanding College coach and Athletic Director but that’s only part of his outstanding life!
Coach Sloan started the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at BAMA! I could co on and on of his many contributions to Alabama and other colleges!
But on a very personal comment on Coach Sloan. My freshman year at BAMA I got myself into some trouble, Coach Sloan found out about and came to my help!. I had never met him personally until this moment. Coach took me under his wing and helped me get straighten out! I don’t know if I would have made it without Coach Sloan’s help! I owe this man much!
We have stayed in touch with Coach over the years! I know one thing! Coach Steve Sloan has a new home today and it’s in HEAVEN!
