After seeing its game against Texas A&M pushed back earlier this week, No. 8 Alabama basketball will have to wait even longer before traveling to Texas to face the Aggies. The matchup was one of three games postponed by the SEC Wednesday morning due to weather that is moving throughout the region this week. Make-up dates for these games have not been determined at this time.

Alabama's game against Texas A&M was originally scheduled for Wednesday night before the SEC pushed it back to a 2 p.m. CT tipoff Thursday. Alabama's tried to travel to College Station, Texas on Tuesday before the weather worsened in the area Wednesday. However, the team had issues preparing a flight crew for the trip down.

Alabama (17-5, 12-1 SEC) will host Vanderbilt (6-10, 2-8) on Saturday at noon inside of Coleman Coliseum. The Tide currently holds a three-game lead over Arkansas (17-5, 9-4) in the SEC standings as it looks to earn its first regular-season conference title since 2002.

I hope they schedule a make up date for the Texas AM game if needed. Was hoping to play the game. Should have been moved to Tuscaloosa and AM left Texas on Monday and stayed in Tuscaloosa.

I believe it was 1995 or so that Bama was playing at Auburn and it snowed alot the day before. Did they postpone it? Nope. I couldn't get down there from Bham bc of the weather and just had to eat my tickets. We have gotten so dang soft.

They said the team had a hard time finding a flight crew. Did you expect them to walk to College Station?

I was really hoping to get in both of our games this week, and clinch at least a tie for the SEC regular season title. Arkansas is red hot and I don't see them losing another game. It would've been nice to have padded our lead with two more wins.

I volunteer you to be the one to tell all those softies out in college station that currently don't have power and are using the aggies gym to stay warm that they all have to go out in the streets and freeze to death for the next few hours so we can prove how tough we are by playing a basketball game during what amounts to a natural disaster.

Gonna be bad news for Stack and the lowly commodores.

I believe this only be rescheduled if it impacts the SEC champion. The season ends mid-week and we could play the game on Saturday the 6th. Good news is Bruner and Gary should be back then and the SEC tournament is the next week,

Herb looked the best I've seen him in weeks last game. The time off helps, but stinks to miss a chance to see them play. If Bama clinches and that game is not needed I don't see any need to play it and risk injury before SEC tourney.

Agree, only way I really see this game being played is if Arkansas finishes within a game of us for the regular season title.

I just hope they can stay sharp. Sometimes a layoff will cause rustiness.
