Looks like Bama will be playing their 2nd team in this early part of the season when they are ranked number 1. Has Bama ever won two games in a season against the number 1 ranked team?

I guess we find out Saturday Stabler. I think we can pull a W out of this game.
Houston plays really good defense, but I think our offense is better and we play good defense too!

A number of posters keep saying we will know how good this team really is after Saturday, but I am more concerned about how we look after that 3 game stretch of Houston, Memphis, and Gonzaga, and even more concerned about how we are looking, and gelling, at the end of the season. I would love a good/great performance Saturday, but we need to all remember that we are playing the #1 ranked team in college BB, on the road, and one game does not define a season, regardless of how good or bad we might play. We just have to remember that there will be some rough bumps in the road this year, but that does not mean we are not a good BB team when it really matters come tournament time.

I don't know for sure, but I have been a Bama bb fan since the 60s and I don't recall it happening. I want our guys to play with the same mindset they had against NC. Don't be awed by their ranking or surroundings. Just play your game and PROTECT THE BALL!

Unfortunately, true, but if we win, and eventually lose another game somewhere else, we will hear it then instead. So, it is immaterial.
