It really is useless. I put so much more weight on kenpom and net rankings for basketball. Voters simply don’t have the time or ability to evaluate it deeper than record across the whole country. The AP is a very surface level ranking, even though I still like to be ranked lol

True. It's better to be ranked in the top 25 than unranked. If we get swept by State tonight, we'll be #35 tomorrow.
