We do not even know who is declaring for the draft, who is transferring and who is coming into various programs.

I appreciate the compliment for Coach Oats and the potential team, but I am not purchasing my final four tickets at this time.

make my predictions for the SEC.

1. Arkansas
2. Tennessee
3. Alabama
4. Kentucky
5. Missouri
6. Vanderbilt
7. Florida
8. LSU
9. Miss State
10. Auburn
11. Ole Miss
12. Georgia
13. South Carolina
14. Texas A&M

I think that Arkansas with almost everyone back is the team to beat and Tennessee is not far behind. At this stage I do not know who Alabama has coming off the bench, although Alabama may have the best starting five in the conference. With no true post man and what amounts to four guards starting, I just do not know how good Bama would be out of the shoot. Now if we have a true post or backup for Gary the team will be more than capable with five legitimate starting guards. It is just defensive rebounding that gives me concern. People do not realize just how valuable Herb Jones was to the team.

Tennessee loses a ton. I'm not worried about them unless Springer and Keon Johnson comes back

You might be right; everything you said makes sense to me. But you're pissing in my Cheerios right now.

I don't see UT as an automatic contender. Their losses aren't easily replaced. Every aspect of their team is leaving. Arkansas imo looks like top 3 SEC. Bama the clear favorite, only on paper of course. Not saying it turns out that way. I think AU is much higher as well. Appreciate you taking the time to lay this out and start the convo.

I was under the impression that Arkansas is losing a lot of players that contributed this past year?

I think you may have Arkansas and Alabama confused.
hope you are correct.

Heard the tail end of a conversation on JOX today and there was mention of Herb coming back. This was news to me. Is there any real possibility this happens?

My opinion is that Alex Tchikou will solve most of our post concerns.
I also predict that we have less turnovers per game...my brain cant convince me that next years team wont be better than this years. Lose some experience but we have plenty coming back and more talent in the rotation any way you look at it

WAPO has us #1. I'd have us in the 10 to 15 range. If Tchiko or Bediako can handle the pace we play at and Primo and Ellis improve. We'll be pretty good. JD is elite and Langston is very athletic. All ingredients we need

I think Bama is looking at their first season of 30 plus wins starting in Nov. 2021....

UCLA VS Bama in the revenge game for it all...

100%...thank you.

I kept rereading this thread’s date thinking it must be old because a lot of this roster information being discussed is off and already known.

Arkansas and UT are both losing expected lottery picks in Moody and Johnson respectively, plus Bama just picked up a center who is the #29 player overall, to add along with Tchikou, and Wilson who is a high riser with length (and apparently Bama could still be looking). Maybe Bama does end up weak inside, but it certainly doesn’t seem like that is to be expected.
