-Alabama played its worst game of the SEC slate and still won by 8 over Miss St tonight. They move to 13-3 overall and 8-0 in the SEC. This is a game I could’ve seen Alabama lose in the past 12 years, but this team is different. They can score in bunches so quickly that they can diminish a lead and stretch a lead swiftly.

-Alabama hit 14 more 3’s tonight where they were +30 tonight over Miss St. That is the analytical factor of shooting more shots that are worth more points and it’ll give you the edge. They did a good job of battling the Miss St bigs Inside and leveled out the rebounding at 29-29.

-Joshua Primo is going to make a lot of money in the NBA one day. He made four more 3’s tonight and kept Alabama in the game early on when they were struggling. Herbert Jones had an amazing statline as well with 17 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists, 4 steals, 3 blocks and hit 2 threes. I believe Herbert is playing his way into the backend of the first round of the draft.

-Another guy that is playing is way up the draft board is John Petty. He hit a crucial 3 with about a minute left to push the Alabama lead to 6 that essentially put the game away. He had an off night but still hit 4 threes at 40% and played solid defense.

- Alabama stays at home to play Kentucky who got a big bounce back win against LSU. Kentucky will be out for revenge after Alabama gave them the worst lost at Rupp Arena since Coach Cal has been at Kentucky.

Kind of interesting that D Miles didn't see the court tonight at all! The guy and handle the rock, has good size for a guard, athletic, and very good shooter! Thought he could be a rotation guy that can keep the offense rolling!🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

So in a game where Bama is missing Bruner, Rojas, and Frenchie....Reese appears to hurt is ankle while still struggling to hit 3s.
Herb is limping all over the court.
Primo our hottest in game shooter gets in foul trouble. Quinerly has probably his worst shooting games, while Petty, Shackleford, Ellis, and Gary did nothing spectacular and we still win by 8. I'll take it!

Unbelievable how much potential this team has.
