The Alabama staff is getting after it on the recruiting trail. The Tide has extended a few offers today, and it's likely that a few more could go out before the week's end. With the NFL Draft tomorrow night and the Crimson Tide having the opportunity to potentially have the first two players go off the board from last year's team, it could provide another great selling point headed into the summer. Not that Alabama needs any help in that regard.
With Alabama hauling in five recruits during the month of April, there's a chance that May has even more names come off the board in two different classes. More on that later.
It will be interesting to see how this '24 class comes together in the coming months with the influence of several new people on staff. It will all go through Saban, but you can already tell that this is shaping up to be a diverse class.
Here are updates on where the staff has been:
Dallas Skyline (Texas)
Bo Barnes was offered earlier today. Barnes was a standout prospect at the Under Armour camp this year and already held offers from Notre Dame, Missouri, Oklahoma State, and others.
Desoto HS (Texas)
Riden was the MVP of the Texas State Championship game with three touchdowns on a team loaded with D1 talent, including current Texas WR Johntay Cook. Oregon has been a constant in his recruitment.
