When the arrogant Marshall said that, Battle should have move on to a coach that was interested in the job, Shaka Smart. I kept saying it and i ended up wanting desperately for Marshall to come because i knew this could happen. Texas thought Shaka was good enough to hire. I started another threD saying that if Wichita beats Kansa we need to move on to Smart and i got flamed. I was just trying to be Smart about it yall, i knew Smart was really interested and he would be a good hire, i just didn't want our team to be in this situation. We had a chance to get Smart a week before Texas fire Barnes, now other teams have upgraded and Bama fired Grant before the other teams fired their coaches. No way we should be in this situation. Some of you all are turning on Battle and thats wrong, he went after the guy most of yall wanted and now some of u wish we went after Smart now. I bet if Smart was our coach recruiting would be good and we would be looking forward to HAVOC when basketball season rolls around. Roll Tide and hope Battle finds a good coach, maybe he will throw that money to Chris Mack at Xavier
