Alabama Squeaked out a 89-25 win against UNA this morning. to advance the season record to 11-2. Alabama suits up again on the 29th, as the conference season opens with Georgia at Coleman. Neither Alabama nor Georgia had an impressive preseason slate of opponents, so I guess you can say that the real season is about to start. The Tide presently sits with an 11-2 record.

I agree her work has been sub std, however, it seems that all of sudden, she’s recruiting well. She got the top girl from Tennessee and she is looking the part. She got Barker back from Georgi. She has a good class coming in. I’m not sure why it took so long. we should make the tourney and do well.

Barker came because of close proximity for family. Nothing to do with Curry. Curry is not a good coach. I'm speaking on the whole body of work. It's been awful

It took so long because the powers that be at Alabama did not support women's basketball. For the longest time they played in a 90 year old arena that had to be redone to host basketball, Foster. It has only been the last three years that they have been allowed to play in Coleman. The team is now able to recruit to Coleman and the administration is supporting basketball.

The Women's team is now able to compete on a level playing court with other teams. You cannot judge a coach that has no support, until she has support. We are not ready to compete annually with the Tennessee's, Kentucky's and South Carolina's of the Women's world; however, we are improving.
