Apparently not happening at this time. The complete mediocrity and irrelevance will continue.
It is/ and not showing up for press conferences, losing every top in state recruit and basically not marketing the program at all.
You could walk across the street and get Shelton's coach who would coach circles around her and actually has relationships with high school coaches in Alabama

I couldn’t. I’ve heard this about Shelton’s coach before. But why hasn’t someone else hired this coach away from Shelton already?
Nobody has said it's OK. But to fire Curry we'd need good reason. She's coming off a 20 win season and a WNIT final four appearance. She's getting some coveted transfers that can help her program. So what reason would you give for terminating her?
See this is the kind of coach I fear hiring: not the terrible coach we have to replace in 3-4 years, but the one who does JUST well enough to keep their job. And I believe she has. Would I like to hire Madonna Thompson from Shelton? Hell yeah. But we probably should have made that change last year.
Somehow Curry does the same thing every year….plays poorly first part of the season, then pulls out a few wins we didn’t expect, hangs on the complete the season. I believe we are stuck in this cycle. Really thought we might get ready for the new arena by building a better product for the next couple of years.
Decent option would be Tim Miller. He was an assistant at bama in 2012. He won 3 state titles at Bob Jones before getting the job at bama. Now all he’s done is coach at my Alma Mater Hazel Green and has won 5 state titles in a row.

He’s a question for all of you? Can you name me a men’s sport with a head coach with a winning percentage of 36.1% in SEC games that would still have a job? My answer he would have been fired 5 years ago! She went 6-10 this year which comes out to.37.5% which is a slight improvement but is that all we should expect? It’s clear that our AD doesn’t give a dam about woman’s basketball!!!!!

Just look at her pre season schedule! It’s a joke! She has not made the final four in any tournament that isn’t held before the new year! She’s getting transfers because she is a very poor recruiter! She can’t recruit great players from Alabama because she is not well thought of by Alabama high school coaches!!!
The player of the year in Alabama this year is a junior from Hoover High School, she is committed to North Carolina!! This time next year we will be having the same discussion!

You're not gonna like this answer, but you asked the question so here you go. We have a men's coach on campus now who entered this season with a winning percentage of 30.3% in SEC play. He is 2-4 so far this season, which at 33.3% is a miniscule improvement over his previous 4 seasons. His name is Brad Bohannon, and he is in his 5th season as head coach of our baseball team.
Your logic is flawed as usual! First of all it took Coach Bo four years to make the NCAA tournament! It took Curry eight years!
This season still has eight more SEC weekend ( or 24 games if your math is correct)
Maybe or maybe not you will understand this next statement ( and I have my doubts) if Coach Bo does not improve in the next couple of years than he will be gone!

You asked someone to name a head coach of a men's sports team at Alabama with an SEC winning percentage of 36.1 that would still be employed. I replied that our current baseball coach has a worse winning percentage than that. How is that flawed? Those are just facts, which aren't flawed unless you don't like them. I also learned a long time ago not to ask a question that I really don't want to know the answer to. I never insinuated that Bohannon should be fired or that Curry should be retained. Those decisions are not mine to make. I could see Byrne going either way on Curry. At this point in her tenure she hasn't succeeded to the degree that she did in her previous coaching stops, but the program does seem to have a a little positive momentum for the first time in years. For that reason, I would keep her for at least one more season. As for Bohannon, I don't think I would retain him after this season if he doesn't qualify for the SEC tournament at a bare minimum. That's a low bar to clear, as it only requires finishing in the top 12 in the conference. So far he has only been able to accomplish that one time.

I think his wife makes him defend anything to do with female sports at Alabama. He wears no pants in that house obviously.

Another fact! 7 out of the 14 ranked baseball teams are in the SEC and 8 out of the top 22! They all have one thing in common the LOTTERY!

Also recruiting! Coach Bo has had multiple classes ranked between 10-12 in the nation unfortunately they are ranked 7-9 in the powerful SEC! Coach Curry recruiting or lack of it is well documented! How you cannot understand this or how you refuse to understand this is beyond comprehension!
Another fact is attendance! Woman’s basketball they can’t give tickets away! Baseball not the greatest but not too bad either! If you truly think our woman’s basketball program has an upside under Curry should be retained? They your Crimson colored glasses could block out any sunlight on the brightest day! If you knew me, you would know that controversy is the last thing I want o create. Life is too short and I'm getting too old for that. Bohannon has finished in the top 12 of the SEC just once in 4 years. I would venture to guess that Curry has finished in the top 12 at a much more frequent clip than that. It's great that Bohannon is recruiting well, but that's just part of his job. Those recruiting classes haven't transitioned to on field success. We're losing to the likes of UT-Martin (2 years in a row), UAB, ULM, and North Alabama. He seems like a nice guy and I want him to succeed, just like I do all of our coaches, but so far he just hasn't produced.

And I have seen Coach Bo at practice and in games! He is a very good coach that has two strikes against him every year! Curry’s time has come and passed! I always list FACTS and you choose not to respond to your own opinions! One of many examples, you said our woman’s team showed improvement! From the NCAA tournament to the NIT! Now that’s improvement! Making the NCAA tournament in four years not eight years!

I said the women's team had positive momentum. I never mentioned the word "improvement". Following up a season in which we advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament with a 20 win season is momentum in my book. And how is posting a coaches SEC record an opinion? Wins and losses aren't opinions, they're facts.
There is alot of momentum behind the program right now. Curry is recruiting good talent from High School and the portal. It's just hard to fire someone coming off one of the best rebuild seasons I've seen in a long time. Is there someone better out there? Perhaps yes. Thompson wins with the best talent hands down in her conference. It's one thing to win with the best talent, but to go 36-0 (Tim Miller)and beat some of the best teams in the country with less talent is pure coaching.
Momentum? 200 people in attendance every home game? One NCAA tourney in 9 years? Skipping press conferences after bad losses? No decent in state recruit even considering going to Alabama?
Post is laughable.
Nye is another nice pick up for Curry. She was honorable mention all Big 10, averaging over 12 points per game. She made 69 3 pointers this season, and shot 36.9% from behind the arc. Curry is hitting the portal hard and it is paying big dividends so far.
dont watch alot of women`s basketball but she has picked up some good players.
Talent needs coaching, but there is no question she's picking up talent. And her first few teams were weak in it.
