I sure hope our players watched the thrashing that Arkansas delivered to Kentucky last night. That should be a real wakeup call as to what can happen if you are not prepared to play the game.

Agreed. One comforting thought is that we have beaten both teams.
True, but one sobering thought is that we have to play Arkansas again. They're playing great basketball now and are expected to have likely lottery pick Nick Smith, Jr back before they play us. Musselman's teams tend to start out slowly each year and peak in February and March. Looks like they're following that script again. The hogs are gonna be a tough out for anyone going forward.
I went to the UK vs Arky game, and Arky played really good defense, shot around 60% from the field and beat Kentucky in every metric of the game except maybe rebounding...at Rupp! Even their warmup was more “structured” than UK’s. They will be a difficult out for sure.
