I used to live in Marietta and still have the same dentist there 37 years later as he is the best! Long story short, I came into town last night for my appointment today. After my appointment, I had to get some air in my tires and stopped at a local tire/battery shop. There was a gentleman there getting a battery in his Jeep and he saw me wearing a Bama sweatshirt. so, he struck up a conversation about Saturday's game. During our conversation, he said that his son had played at Alabama, so I asked who his son was. His reply - Collin Sexton! Yes, I was talking to his dad Darnell! Very nice guy! Hoping that's a great omen for Saturday's game!
Team Hotel is the Westin on Andrew Young International Blvd in downtown Atlanta. I stopped by there this evening.
Lastly - is there a meeting place that members of this board are gathering at this weekend other than tailgating at Mercedes-Benz Stadium? Haven't meet any members in person, so looking forward to the opportunity! Roll Tide!!
