Missouri had a chance. Blows my mind Missouri makes a 3 to cut it to one and they just let Auburn play it out and take a shot with like 3 seconds on the game clock. Seems like a 100% time to foul then….

#1 ranked barn is now 19-1. And Tide season will soon be on life support. Sad.
Soon? Seems like we are on it now. But really wanted to discuss the end of that game. Why wouldn’t you foul? At best Missouri gets the ball back with 3-4 seconds on the opposite end of the court.
Did you watch the game? I only saw the end. How did Missouri guard them to keep the score that low. I’m guessing insane ball pressure and letting them blow by like Bama does isn my the tactic Missouri went with..
After our loss I could only stomach a little bit of knowing au was going win but Jabari really struggled in the first half. Ended up 2-15 on the night 1-7 from three. He lit us up and looked like an NBA all star doing it. By the second half we turned on the movie Benji which allowed me to end the nights with some better thoughts. One of those games where the good teams find a way to win and it just goes down as a W.
Martin blew that one. Even with perfect execution, getting a defensive stop and a rebound, they still would have had less than 4 seconds to take the ball the length of the court for a possible game winner.
Soon to be. Bama got plugged up last night. Right now it looks dim for the future and I don’t think survival is possible.
By soon I meant after these next 3 games. Those will nail the coffin shut.

I’m sure Pearl will be on his knees begging him to stay. One disadvantage Pearl has now with recruiting and getting kids to stay is that everybody can get their players paid.
I think you have to foul in that situation. I get that you are looking at the time and thinking if we play great D we can get the ball back with 5 seconds left and a chance to win, but everything has to go prefect for you to make that happen.
