Avery Johnson , why ?

yall do realize the last time he coached he was fired. Last 3 seasons as a head coach he had losing seasons. He has been out of coaching for 2 years, never coached college , or had to recruit at all. Why all the excitement? At least with a Prohm or White, they do have college experience and know how to recruit. I cant see paying Avery 3+ million for an unproven product. Just MO. Thanks
