I don't want to overlook anyone we play in this tourney. I flash back to the team Wimp had in 86 or 87 with McKey, Farmer, etc. and we were "penciled in" as a final four team and we lost to Providence coached by, you guessed it, Rick Patino.

This Iona team isn't even in the same stratosphere as that Providence team that went to the Final Four. Like Pitino said in his interview last night "Billy Donovan ain't walking through that door".

They only play about 6 or 7 guys, so our pace should have them gassed in the second half.

Oh I agree that we should win the game but it still makes me a little nervous. Pitino will obviously try to slow the game down and cut into the number of shot attempts we get. We just need to rebound and run.

Delray Brooks won't be walking through the door either. This one should be over by halftime. I sure hope it is after our last 2 heart stoppers.
