We’ll be in trouble if they do. Gary is shooting 54.5% from the floor this season. Nice try to trash probably our hardest working player, but an epic fail on your part.
I wouldn’t be so sure. He rarely misses an opportunity to criticize a player or coach on any of our teams.
You’re a fool. Gary is my favorite player on this team. Heck, he was borderline my favorite player last season. He’s not a good shooter. Nobody is winning with 5 guys that work hard but don’t shoot the ball well. You need them, but you can’t have 5 of them. Find something else to do besides comment on my post.
I'll comment on any post that I feel compelled to. I usually just shake my head at your takes and wonder how miserable it must be to be you with your constant criticism of, and negativity toward, our coaches and players. If I responded to every one of your imbecilic posts then I would have little time in my life for anything else. Gary is shooting 54.5% from the field. If all of Houston's guys "shoot like Gary" and make 54.5% of their shots from the field they will run us out of the gym. I'm not gonna continue to debate with a fool, so this will be my last post in this thread.
That’s how little you know. If all Houston’s guys shot like Gary and shot 54.5 % from the field, they’d run us out of the gym. For one, he scores off of offensive rebound putbacks. If nobody on the team can shoot the 3, there won’t be many off those, bc the the defense would just pack it in. And two, he scores when guards penetrate and force help and he scores bc of what the guard does with the ball. Again, nobody on the floor can shoot the 3, the defense will pack it in and there isn’t anywhere to drive. He hasn’t made a 3.
I love Gary. But if you get all Gary’s, the defense will pack it in bc there isn’t anybody that can shoot the 3. There isn’t anybody that can drive the ball either. You won’t make a living with 5 guys that strengths are effort and offensive rebounding. The 54.5% is misleading the way you’re using it. We’d smoke any team with all guys that had the offensive game Gary has. Call it negative. It’s the truth. And I didn’t bring it up. It was a response to another post. I just talk about the game. I understand it.
I didn't see it as a shot and took it to mean from 3 anyway and I laughed. Much ado about nothing. The other guy seemed overly eager to pounce.
Both of those teams are good. I don't care if the're not ranked, Wisconsin is a tough out. If Bama sleepwalks they'll find themselves down 40-20 at the half.
Bama has to "bring it" against everybody. That's what I love about bb, even low-tiered teams are good and chalked with quality players.
Wow. I would have never thought they'd go 2-0 against the Zags and Cougs. Man these boys are playing some tough basketball. My heart's beating so fast I may not go to sleep until 1. Roll Tide.
Houston better bring it against Bama! Now can Bama stay locked in after these two monster wins and beat a Memphis team that is struggling big time? If we can, we might blow them out.
No chance, I mean absolutely no chance that Memphis has as much heart and grit as what Houston put on the floor tonight. Not saying Bama can sleepwalk at all but as you mentioned if Bama brings it it could get ugly. Penny is going to learn like Cal that top 5 high school talent only goes so far if you can't inspire them.
Also wouldn't shock me if Teddy Ballgame is officiating and Gurley and Bediako have 13 fouls by the first TV timeout.
