We need a thread to keep up with these guys and for recruits to see we have a thread ready for them in the NBA one day!
It doesn’t look like Primo played at all tonight. I thought he would be in the rotation? Saw Herb played about 3 minutes. Kira scored a few points in 17 minutes.

Herb has worked his way into the starting lineup until Zion returns. Played 31 minutes tonight in a road win over the Timberwolves. It's going to be hard to replace him and Petty. Hope this group is up to the challenge. Roll Tide!!!

I was shocked Primo was drafted that high. I thought for sure he needed another year in college. Guess you gotta go when you're a projected first rounder, which he was. Just didn't see that being even a possibility after watching him the whole year, flashes of brilliance (first au game) and then would disappear for several games or play very little. Hope he has a great career and will always pull for him. We need to fill up the NBA like Saban has done the NFL. Maybe half way through the season he'll find his groove and be a consistent sub off the bench.

Primo was drafted solely on potential. You got to go when fire is hot. Coming back a year most likely would have hurt his stock , his ceiling was probably 12 where he was drafted. Yes he could have gotten better here and helped us win some games. But the end goal is to make some money and take care of your family. Coach Oats understands this very well, those guys in the NBA are not making high school math teacher money.

Yeah I totally agree a no brainer for him. I just didn't see NBA first round talent from what I watched but what the hell do I know!!! He must have done really well at all those NBA camps and like you mentioned shown the potential to be very good. Hope he kicks ass and stays in the league a long time. Seemed like a good kid and would have been a big part of this years team.

I saw Herb and Lewis both had 12 points in a losing effort. Herb seems to be a good fit and Lewis is a capable back up point guard . Primo sent down to the G league probably a good move to get more playing time at 18 years old .

Primo got the call up to to the Spurs today. Most of our guys are or have been banged up.

Could post something from Herb daily. Primo finally getting in the mix during his college freshman year in the NBA.

I don’t care how close it is. Just don’t like going to that arena for anything.
The arena recently re-opened after undergoing a $123 million expansion and renovation. I was there for our basketball game against Davidson. It's far and away the largest and nicest arena in the state of Alabama.

I’m not talking about the arena. Just don’t like going to that location. Never have, never will.

To each his own. The area is very nice now, with a new entertainment district featuring several nice restaurants and pubs, as well as Top Golf and the new football stadium. We had my 9 year old granddaughter with us and felt very safe on the walk to and from Legacy Arena. If safety is your issue with the area then your concerns are unfounded IMO.

I know somebody that just got their car broken into and things stolen out of it down there, just like old times.

I’m sure there’s crime wherever you live as well. It’s your loss if you want to be so closed minded and cling to generalizations and stereotypes.
Whatever man. You don’t know me or where I come from. It’s not a stereotype. Heck I know multiple vehicles that have been stolen out of the parking deck there. Much less broken into. There’s no generalization or stereotype. I didn’t say anything about a certain type of person. You’re obviously the perfect Individual and you even stereotype me and know who I am and such.
