Fouts is dealing thru 4 with 8 K’s and allowing only 1 hit.

I think she was more shocked than the rest of us. Imagine, your first hit in the SEC and it's a game-winning "grand slam!" As far as sports, life doesn't get any better!

The other pitchers have pitched pretty good this year. For some reason some Bama fans do not realize fouts has struggled a little. Fouts gave up 10 home runs all of last year she's given up 10 so far this year. She has given up 14 triples so far, only 14 total last year. She's given up 36 runs so far, on pace to be over last year's total. She started struggling a little at the end of the season last year and it has showed up in game this season. Not putting blame of those losses all on Fouts because the team needs to start getting hits with runners on base. The team pitching ERA is under 2 so far on the year.

Murphy started Fouts today/ for 2nd day in a row. Wow.
And of course through 5 innings score is 0-0 and Bama has 2 whole hits against the worse team in the league

1-9 Missouri.

I don’t mind calling Murphy out for some of his crazy hunches, but I also will give him credit when it’s due and in todays game in what I believe was the 6th inning he made a defensive move and put Kristin White in center field and the move basically won Bama the game as Missouri had a runner on first with one out and she stole second base on a horrible throw and the girl was going to third and White threw a damn frozen rope from center field to third base and the girl was originally called safe, but after the review she was out. Bama ended up getting 4 runs in I believe the 9th to get the win.

More stellar pitching from Salter and Torrance today against 1-10 and last place Missouri.

Down 7-3 in 4th/ wild pitches, hit batters, walks and errors .
Needed to sweep a really bad Missouri team. Hard to do with ONE decent pitcher.
