Went to the SEC Championship yesterday in Atlanta for Ladies Gymnastics. First group had Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, and Arkansas. The 2nd group at night was LSU, Auburn, Florida, and Alabama. It was startling to see the difference in quality in the 1st session and the 2nd. Georgia has fallen dramatically in ladies gymnastics. Florida did great everywhere but the beam where they had 3 girls fall off and that killed their chances of winning. LSU did very well and Bama did very well. Bama won because they did very well on all 4 events and all girls 1-6 where very good. Bama only had 1 slip and that was on the bars where a girl fell during her dismount. Since they only take the top 5, her score was just gravy anyway. Anyway congratulations to the girls for adding another big trophy in our trophy case. Oh the Tide faithful were out in force as usual. We had a solid group there and they were very loud and noisy. Just what you would expect. The cute part was when they announced Bama as the SEC champs and they played our fight song all the girls from all the schools started dancing. It was cute. Like they expected Bama to win from the start. As usual. Congratulations Gym Girls and Roll Tide!!!!!!!!!!
