Stud freshman RB Asa Martin had one carry and one kick return vs. Miss St. That was his 5th game of the year to play in. Problem is the au coaches did not know. Martin's mom says they coaches told the family their plan was to redshirt him and preserve a year of eligibility. Mom said she even reached out to the coaching staff to question them about his redshirt status before that game. Here's a quote from the article.
