Great defense by Clemson from start to finish close game with 3 minutes to go . REESE CAN NOT BE IN THE GAME DOWN THE STRETCH . Killed us but no one played well . We will learn from this one . Hats off to Clemson .

You do realize that there is a whole other forum for basketball on this site now. Right? I hate the fact that the mods are trying to drive other sports off this forum but they are. It's not like this forum moves that fast. Sometimes new stuff is not better.

I’m suggesting that two football schools’ forums might be identical in its lack of coverage of Bball ...
Although Clemson is in the ACC which would make it more glaring

The Idiots that scheduled the game on a Saturday night facing off with/against College Football are the ones to blame. But....It is disappointing that we lose to a Non-Powerhouse basketball program like Clemson especially with all the talent Oats has. Maybe he will learn....Defense and rebounds matter!

Oats was outcoached and we were straight up out played. We had 10 days to prepare for Clemson and had no gameplan. Unacceptable

Clemson did a great job of defending the 3 point arch and when we do throw one up for three it was contested.
Im not sure when Herb Jones became the point guard but it seems all game long he was handling the ball, bringing it up the court and driving to the basket where he turned iI over several times. Shack, Q, and Reese tried to penetrate several times to get it blocked or turn it over.
Like Baseline said, we did not looke like we were very prepared for what Clemson was doing offensively and defensivly

He did. We went to the rim quickly the rest of the 1st half. Went in to be blocked at the rim almost 10 times.

Exactly. The defensive blueprint to beat us is simple. Defend the 3 pt line and allow us to dribble penetrate and turn the ball over.
