It has always been my opinion that ncaa tournament participants should be required to participate in all major sports, most notably football, baseball, and basketball at a minimum. This would take care of basketball only schools such as WSU from competing with the schools who shoulder the financial burden of providing the other sports. Make all the schools who compete for championships compete in all the major sports. WSU would not be able to offer such ridiculous money to coaches like GM if they had to compete in football. Schools like this only want to compete in the sports they think they can afford. This is not fair to schools who provide all the major sports. In other words, if these schools want to compete with the big guys, let then have to do it across the board
