Seems like getting off the field on 3rd and long has been a problem last year. Some of the trouble was on the dbs but I think most has been a pass rush problem. I seems like we play nickel or dime and try and keep coverage long enough for someone to get to the qb and it never seems to happen. And I remember bringing javy on a corner blitz more often. I'd like to see tony do it more often. What is it we need to do force three and outs. we can shut em down on first and second and then give up. 12 to 15 yards. I'd like to see us force more three and outs instead of letting a team drive the field and then buckle down in the redzone. Field goals are better than giving up touchdowns but punts are even better. To me that will be the barometer for success this year on defense. Forcing three and outs in the opponents territory
