Charles had 0 points and 2-3 rebounds tonight. And we really went on our run when he came out with his fourth foul. Wasn’t his night tonight.
Clowney played well except for going 0-6 from three, including that terrible three he shot late. He had to play pretty good on defense, especially in the 2nd half.
Gurley had 0 points but only 1 turnover. He had to play some really good D in the 2nd half too.
Pringle had 7 points in his short time. I wonder if he’s lacking on the defensive end? Seems like he gets turned around at times.
Is not having a big guy that can really man the paint every night going to cost us in March?

Bediako has played poorly and weak over the last 3-4 games. Getting pushed around on the block and not being aggressive on the boards. He was a HUGE liability tonight.

I disagree. He had a bad few games but will be needed down the road situationally.

The one thing I saw about Bediako that worries me was body language.

Pringle has stepped up. He’s earning trust.

He and clowney are a very athletic frontcourt.

Imagine when Oats finds and recruits a 7 footer who plays like clowney !!

Harley is slumping a bit and Miss St has some very strong big front court that bullied him

He’s had some really good nights. But the question isn’t whether or not we will need him. The question is will he be enough on nights where we play against a team that is centered around a big or two?

I think the entire team played at a level below what we have become accustomed to seeing on offence except Pringle. Charles's game was more noticeable based on the first half points their big scored. In the second half he was shut down and Charles guarded him much better.

As far as teams running their offence through its big men, he did a pretty good job against Kentucky in shutting down their big man who was leading the country in scoring at the time. And he does get his share of rebounds too. Last night was just not pretty all around by Bama's standards this year.

Please spend the spring and summer in the weight room. Put him on whatever diet Roy Rogers was on for those of you that remember his transformation way back when.
