In my opinion we have to be able to move the ball with methodical first downs if we are going to win the SEC and make the playoffs. If not defenses will adjust and we will continue having too many 3 and outs. It's good to have big play capability but it will not be sustainable throughout SEC play. Championship teams know how to get first downs when needed the most. We could not stop Vandy simply because they had more offensive wrinkles than we could defend. 3 straight times they had 3rd and 8 and they made it each time with ease.
