I suspect all of us have expressed our vocal displeasure at one time or another during a game, but I am referring to what I call, "bleacher bullies." These fans are always negative, always griping. If they are not constantly yelling at officials, they are complaining about the coach. If neither of those, they are inexcusably fussing at the players. That is pretty easy to do in their seat up in the stands. I love to see one of these cowards have the guts to say those things to the other person's face.They must have extremely sad lives. One of my favorite stories occurred in a basketball game in which the official called time out and walked over to the bleachers. He took off his whistle and offered it to a woman who had been on his back the whole game. He told her that since she knew so much, she should be doing his job. The fans roared with laughter and gave him a standing ovation.
