The Talk of Champions forum is for Alabama sports related topics. While we want a high majority of topics discussed we are not opposed to talking about other topics. I know I've had several people message me about it. There are some things we won't talk about which will be moved to different forums, but if want to talk good movies, summer concerts or something of that nature I'm not opposed to us talking about it on the main forum.
So....with that being said. The summer is always a great time to enjoy concerts. There are a lot of great shows throughout the country, and many great acts. Big and small. So which concert or festival are you looking most forward to before the start of football season?
I enjoyed the Hangout a few weeks ago- Foo Fighters, Zac Brown Band, My Morning Jacket, Skrillex, Damian Marley, Krewella, Xavier Rudd and Preservation Hall Jazz Band were probably my favorites. I saw Jimmy Buffet at the Wharf in Orange Beach in late April which was a lot of fun.
I missed the DMB show at the Tuscaloosa Amp. Garth Brooks is playing in Birmingham this weekend. I'm definitely looking forward to Phish in Tuscaloosa in August.
I don't think I will make it to Bonnaroo.
