Please ask any recruiting questions within this thread. I will knock out a few to kick things off this week.
1. Is there legitimate concern regarding Najee Harris?
Yes, there is growing concern among the Alabama coaching staff regarding Harris' recent comments on his recruitment. Harris is receiving a lot of pressure to stay on the West Coast with USC making up a lot of ground in recent months. He is also starting to really like Michigan. I've seen some Alabama fans say there is no way/no concern about Najee. Yes, there is. Does it mean Najee will flip? No. He is going to return to Alabama for an official visit. I don't think it's a 100-percent lock for him to stay. Alabama has to recruit him as if he isn't committed. This is a battle until the end as I've stated many previous times.
2. Will Alabama land Rivals100 LB Jacob Phillips this week?
No. Phillips took an official visit to Alabama two weekends ago. There has been some thought Phillips has favored the Crimson Tide since the summer. There hasn't really been an opportunity for him to commit. Alabama has been waiting to see what others are going to do. Dylan Moses commitment to Alabamapretty much put an end to it. I've heard Phillips wanted to commit to Alabama, but it's not going to happen. Phillips will likely choose Oklahoma.
3. Is Baron Browning a legit possibility?
Yes, the five-star linebacker from Texas is taking an official visit to Alabama next weekend. He will bring his parents on the visit. Alabama is not going to take any additional inside linebackers (only) in this class. Browning has the ability to play inside or outside which makes him a special talent. The Alabama staff will 100-percent take a commitment from him. Browning, along with Jarez Parks, five-star defensive end from Sebastian River High School in Florida, and Chris Allen, four-star linebacker from Southern Lab High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, are Alabama's top remaining targets. All are considered takes. Will Alabama take all three? No, but all have the ability to commit at this time.
