As of this date there are projected 8 SEC teams in the tournament field and Alabama's women project as an 8 seed in the West Region. UConn also projects in the West as the one seed, so not very encouraging.

Women's Bracket Projections

The men remain in the second overall spot as a First Seed. The SEC has six teams in the field with Florida and aTm sitting in the first out hole.

I hope A & M gets back on the right side of the bubble by completing their season sweep of the boogs tonight.

Our ladies have a chance to increase their seeding in the next 3 weeks. We have 6 conference games left, and 5 of them are against teams currently below us in the SEC standings. Our other opponent is Ole Miss. They are one game ahead of us, but we have already beaten them in Oxford. Ole Miss still has to play South Carolina and LSU, which should be losses for them. There's a good chance that we'll be ahead of them by the time we play.

While the girls have shown us that they can play with South Carolina and Tennessee, they have also shown us they can lose to anyone, Missouri. I think we can easily go 4-2 and probably 5-1 or better, but we had best be prepared every game. Does any one know anything about Abrams status?
