TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Following the Crimson Tide's victories over South Alabama and Jacksonville State last week, Alabama freshman Brandon Miller was named the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Miller had his best game of the early season against Jacksonville State, scoring 28 points on 9-of-12 shooting from the field, including 7-of-9 (.778) from 3-point range while gathering eight rebounds and three assists.

Brandon Miller

  2. Led the Tide in scoring at South Alabama (19 points) and Jacksonville State (28 points)
  3. Ranks No. 38 in the country in points per game (20.2) and ranks No. 1 among all freshmen in Division I
  4. Averaging 3.75 three-pointers per game, which ranks No. 13 in the country

Appreciate the post JB!
Miller will do great things for this team. I predict that at least 2 other freshmen can win the same honor. Bradley, then Griffen or Clowney
