Pistons vs Trailblazers - NBA Summer league

This was a fun game to watch. Lots of young talent (Rookies Ivey, Sharpe, Duren and some of the young guys like Wafford, Key) and the quality of play was significantly better than much of summer league. Braxton got a lot of time and made a good show of it.

I posted several times that I thought Braxton had another gear that he ultimately never reached with Bama. Glad for him he is still getting a chance to show it.

I always liked Braxton and followed him closely even after he transferred to Virginia. Glad he’s still playing and hope he finds a roster spot somewhere.

He literally had pretty much the same success at Bama as he did Virginia. Actually his points per game was better at Bama and his 3 point percentage was better at bama. He logged about the same amount of playing time at both places. He's a decent player just not sure he'll be a full time player.

Braxton played most of the last half of the NBA season on the big league roster. He is on the cusp of getting a full time contract.

His stats say he played 11 total games last year. He was on a pretty bad overall team, so that says a lot. Like I said he’s a decent bench player but I doubt he becomes a full time starter
