Kelly: "I think [Alabama] is the best defense we've seen."
Kelly's reaction to CFP rankings: "It's early in the race. Everybody's jockeying for position."
Kelly on Jayden Daniels' freedom as a quarterback: "He has virtually full autonomy in five and six man protections."
Kelly on prepping for a Nick Saban team: "You know they're going to be stingy." "In the past five years or so they've become dynamic on offense."
Kelly was asked if he still wants to play Alabama annually: "I think we're going to have a say in terms of what that scheduling looks like." Said that he and LSU AD Scott Woodward agreed LSU-Alabama would be a rivalry they would like to keep.

Saban said he's getting Alabama's players refocused coming off the bye week.
Saban on LSU linebacker Harold Perkins: "Really a disruptive player."
Saban on coaching his former players LSU: "I'm happy to hear that some of those lessons learned are being beneficial to these guys."
On his first national championship with LSU: "That will always be special."
Saban said facing LSU's offense is "very challenging because you got to have the right numbers not only in coverage, but you also have to have the right numbers in the run game."
Saban on keeping the LSU rivalry: "I think as many of these rivalry games that we can keep over time is beneficial to the conference and beneficial to the players who play the game."
Saban on the rest of Alabama's schedule: "It's a really, really challenging game this week. That we're trying to focus on and do the best we can to have an opportunity to make the next game important."
