Assuming all final tests are passed, the plan is to have Bruner back and suited up for this Saturday’s game against OU. Obviously going to be a limited role, but the speed of his recovery has been amazing to watch. Will probably be another week or two before he’s back at full strength, but any quality minutes he can provide right now are crucial.

I hope he takes his time. We have to have him full speed for tournament time. No need to rush and reinjure or have him limp around for the rest of the year.

Outstanding-what are travel plans in traveling OU? When do they leave?

In the grand scheme of things, I would love to have him Saturday; however, the game only means whether we will be a one or a two seed. Missouri means whether we will be SEC champs or not.

Well, Bruner had a bit of a setback. They’re playing it safe now and saying a couple more weeks. Sorry for getting the hopes up yesterday, but Oats and the training staff must have seen something they didn’t like. As for travel plans for OU, there actually was a bit of a pause today because OU was having some COVID protocol related issues… but it looks like the game is good to go and the team will be flying in later this afternoon.

well, we played a team that is apparently infested with it on Tuesday so I don't see how the absurd contact-tracing protocols will allow us to go play. I just hope all the Kentucky players survive this disease that has claimed so many college athletes' lives this year.

Well the game was Tuesday and my understanding is that Kentucky’s issues didn’t arise until the last couple days. There’s been no word of issues on our side of the equation... only on the OU side. But who knows... as of this moment, they are fully committed to playing the game. Team plane leaving pretty soon.

I think we should be playing to full arenas. If you're scared, don't go. That being said: according to the "science" you can be contagious for DAYS before you show a symptom or test positive. So how can we have anybody who has played a team 3 days prior to the infested team's "issues" cut loose to travel and play other teams? It makes zero sense. But none of this has.

The good thing is they'll all be 6 feet apart on the "bench" in individual seats... so it'll be impossible to contract the virus. Of course, they'll all huddle every timeout, high five everyone when they come out of the game, and sweat all over each other the entire time on the floor. But make no mistake... they'll be sitting 6 feet apart on the bench.

Accepting this stuff for this long is the most embarrassing thing America has done in my lifetime. Absolutely pathetic. Perfectly healthy people wearing masks. Sitting 6 feet from each other before you go into a game and literally slam into each other for 40 minutes without a mask. Kids by the dozens, totally healthy, sent home for 14 days from school bc some kid in their class had a headache. It is INSANE. And all the cutesy crap like cardboard cutouts in seats, customized "fashion" masks and almost celebrating the "social distancing" policies your establishment has implemented in order to be allowed to stay open, are sickening.
