Can anyone remember Bama ever being a 20-1 odds to win the

I still don’t get the TN hype. They are by far the most inconsistent team I can ever remember. With Arky playing as well as they are these odds just don’t make sense (being worse than TN’s).
Agreed. I don't get caught up in the "odds game." On any given day, a team can get hot and out-gun a supposedly superior team. Bama is a prime example of being hot one game and struggling the next. Thus, we have Cinderella teams.

I bet Bama at 45-1 back in November so the oddsmakers had some respect for us in the beginning. Would be nice for them to make a run and have to consider hedging options.

I don't know what the odds were in 2002 and 1987 Alabama was the #2 seed each time. I believe in 1987, after the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament Alabama had a clear path to the final four, when we were upset by Providence, as the #1 seed had already lost in the Southeast Region, and it 2002 we were upset in the second round by a Kent State team that could not miss a three point shot all day.
