Coach Oats expects Quinerly back. He has one more workout for the Bucks, but if that does not go positive, it looks like he will return for his 5th season with the Tide. His return would give us the point guard that we desperately need. A healthy Quinerly for the entire season would be a major catalyst for a winning team and a return to the NCAA tournament. Quinerly back and a big man to split time with Pringle would be just the medicing this team would need. In my wildest dreams I do not see a season like 2022-23, but I could see another return to the NCAA tournament and a good run. If either of the Portal players are as good as advertised and one Freshman comes through, we could be a solid challenger for the SEC Title again, but we have to possess a Point Guard, which we do not have at the moment.

This is great news and l agree with everything you said.

Imop, JQ coming back is huge, and essential. Yes, we need a big to replace Bediako, but we also need a good 4 too, imop. Hopefully this happens.
Hopefully one of the freshmen can fill the 4 role. A 5 would be great and of course JQ back. A year w/o controversy and we may go farther than last year. I really think all the noise finally got to Miller and the team.

For me, I hope we land Udeh and Grant Nelson, with JQ also coming back, and we get Stevenson, but in next years class.

Only problem with JQ is the nights he wants to bitch about every call that goes against him , the nights he drives under the basket with no where to go with the ball over an over, or continues to get his shot blocked. If he is hitting his shot he is a great player. Just depends on the night I

Bad post. Quinerly played well last year bouncing back from that horrific knee injury. You’re bringing up that up and down sophomore year the whole team fell victim too.

JQ has his share of good and bad nights, but when he is on, he was as important as any player on the team. Plus, not many teams, with the way college BB is today, have a PG with his combination of experience and talent.
