Schedules play a HUGE role in determining who the 4 best teams are ...

A&M as I said before the season had NO SHOT because of their schedule ... imo today if they had our schedule to date they would have 1 loss ... they have lost to 3 top 5 teams and another in the top 15 ... and they have #1 LSU this week. We have played one team in the top 25.
Said the same about AU they have 3 losses to top 5 teams and the 11th ranked team...
imo A&M and AU have one loss with our schedule.

The college schedules have way to much to do with determining who makes the playoffs. I shared 2 SEC teams ... but took a quick look at the top 10 teams ..

Prior to yesterdays games based on rankings this week
LSU had played 1 top 10 team
Ohio State had played 1 top 10 team
Clemson had played 0 Top 10 teams
UGA had played 0 Top 10 teams
Bama had played 1 Top Team lost
Oregon had played 0 Top 10 teams
Utah had played 0 top 10 teams.
Penn State had played 1 top 10 team lost
Oklahoma had played 0 top 10 teams
Minnesota had played 1 top team lost

So the top 10 teams have 2 WINS against and 2 losses top 10 teams .... key DO NOT schedule other top 10 teams.
jmo But there is not ONE team who would be undefeated if they played A&M's schedule ... so many teams playoffs are over when the schedule comes out.

Next year ... may very well be us who has very little chance ... A&M and UT will be better ... USCw and UGA are on the schedule vs DUKE and USCe. We could have 2 or 3 losses next year and be better than this year.

College football does not need to add teams to the playoffs they need to play more games against the other top teams ... if not you just put in 8 because they have 1 loss ... and you continue schedule 2 to 4 teams who have NO SHOT.
