Awesome time last night her in Huntsville. Steak was pretty good I like mine medium rare rather than medium well, but still decent. John Parker Wilson was there he said he just bought a house in the Birmingham area and is getting married or just got married. The Dean of Engineering at Alabama was also a speaker. Pretty cool dude it seems like talked a lot about the accolades the university is getting on the academic side of things which is a lot. He told a very interesting fun fact that the University of Alabama is averaging building a new building every 67 days. Now thats crazy. Alight now lets get to the meat and potatoes.
CAJ- He told a pretty funny joke directed at Battle. He said, " When you went for your first coach you flew right over Texas!" Thats not word for word but that the jist of it. Talked about the style of play saying he was to be high flying alley dunking with 3 pointers in there. Also with a lock down defense. Said we are targeting the best players in the nation going up against teams like Duke and UK for some players. He was just very high energy and well spoken as we all know. Started by saying good news is I only have 10 minutes. Bad news is I only have 10 minutes. Future looks bright.
CNS- Pretty much what you would expect. I was looking at him during the first speakers leading up to him and at first I was like does he even want to be here at this dinner haha. But he gave a good talk. Said the other day he talked to a lot of players and asked who they liked at QB. Said everyone liked someone different so of course the QB battle is far from over. Talked some about people anointing freshman when they come in said we are bad about that of course when these players haven't bought into or paid their dues like a Reggie Ragland has. Talked about how we lost to OSU. Said we have lost our MOJO. Talked about OSU saying they are defending champs and had 99k at thier spring game to our 45k. So we gotta get off our @ss and get to the games pretty much.
Overall great night will defiantly go back again. Now I will open up the thread for questions.
