I moved back to Alabama after having being away for a number of years and having relocated all over the midwest and southeast. ( 12 separate relocations). When I retired I came back home, and now live in the Gulf Shores area. For whatever reason I expected Gulf Shores to be Auburn territory, don't know why I thought that, the reality is that Auburn has very little presence here. Secondly I have seen many many automobiles, mailboxes, etc bearing the Alabama logo, sadly a goodly number of them, I would say way more than half are crooked if that is the correct term, anyway they are skewed with one leg of the A higher than the other and generally looking not as proud as I would like them to look. Oh well, at least the people who display them are showing their loyalty to the "Tide". I wonder if it is possible to require the licensed decal makers to put a straight line on the bottom of the decal that would be used as a leveling device and could then be removed once the decal is installed ? Maybe I am making too big a deal of it, but when I lived in Little Rock that pig ran straight, when I lived in Baton Rouge I never noticed a crooked LSU. I intentionally omitted AU and allow you to visualize their logo in your minds eye, if possible without throwing up.

Finally Candi Fisher is my niece, born and raised in Piedmont, Alabama, she did finish her degree at Auburn while Jimbo was an assistant coach there. Anyway I appreciated the restraint that this board demonstrated during a very trying time for all of us who know and love Candi and her kids. I also wish the best for Jimbo and will be glad when this is behind them. As always its about the Kids and as most of you know, Ethan, the youngest, has a short life expectancy because of a rare blood disease.
