Thanks for trying your best to land Gregg Marshall. I appreciate it. Just wanted to say, please don't be blinded by the task of landing a "big name". A "proven head coach". I hope you will focus more towards what you also said in your release the other day. And that is....locate, identify and hire a man that has an unreal desire, drive, and "want" to be our coach. He's out there, and he may not have "the name"....but don't get mirred down in another Marshall rat trap.
Chances are once this new guy is introduced, and we can see some pop, energy and excitement in his eyes, your constituency will back everything about him. Thank you.

Dear Phil,

As my good friend a Gene stallings used to say and I'll paraphrase: "If a Coach always listens to the fans pretty soon he'll be sitting with them." I'll extend that statement to apply to the AThletics Director. To the alumni who want to bring back the glory days, I am working diligently to hire the best coach and best fit for U of A. Rome was not built in a day so I ask for your patience.
