LSU coach Les Miles was asked about it, and answered in the way only he can:
We fell like just short of throwing him off of the plane. We did review, before we got into the plane, spray painting that would be at the hangar, which there was not. I am told that red is a style, OK. You have a red shirt on, and I still answered. I don't know it just didn't seem the most stylish to me.

I had a red car once, when I was in Dallas, and when I came into Oklahoma, I sold it. I sold it right away. A red car had no place in Stillwater. Stillwater is Oklahoma State's orange, so it's not red, and I went to Michigan, in case you guys didn't know, and they aren't red either. My high school team was red. OK, if you were going to catch me in anything red that was it. It was the last time. I didn't when I was single date women that wore red. Or smoked.
