The at the goal line when they scored, there was a block by the receiver that was called targeting illegal block. I couldn’t figure that one out. The runner that scored had not come through the line yet, the block was straight on and possible helmet contact, but they called an illegal block. I think they call it a blind side block and the announcer said it was unnecessary. How can it be an unnecessary block when the defender is headed right for your runner and he hadn’t even come through the line yet? What did I miss?
